THE CHIEF SECRETARY, AMBASSADOR OMBENI Y. SEFUE PARTICIPATES AT THE SECOND BREAKFAST EVENT ON THE PREVAILING LEGAL AND REGULATORY REGIME IN THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR, DAR ES SALAAM 21ST JULY, 2015
The Chief Secretary, Ambassador Ombeni Y. Sefue, today, 21st July, 2015 joined participants of the Second in a Series of breakfast events being organised by ENSafrica to discuss the legal and regulatory regime in the Oil and Gas Sector in Tanzania.
The discussions centred on the newly passed Oil and Gas legislations with a view to enriching and proposing ways to improve them to better suit in managing this important sector.
In his opening statement, Ambassador Sefue said that, the government is determined to draw from readily available good practice and knowledge in managing this important sector. By having this open and frank discussion around legal and regulatory regime in the sector, ENSafrica is doing a great service that will contribute in getting it right and avoid the mistakes others had done, he said.
